Portable Appliance Testing
All electrical appliances used within the workplace or used by your staff or customers require an electrical safety test commonly called PAT test.
You may be aware of the little green stickers that swarm over the office. These are simply a clarification that the equipment it is attached to has been tested and found to be safe for use, however, they have a time expiry. This can be anything from a month or even weekly up to 4 years dependent on the appliance in question and the environment that it is exposed to or used in.
Our appliance testing services comprehensively test each and every appliance. We will catalogue all the assets, listing type, current location, test readings and retest dates. The required information is attached to the appliance and the full information contained in a custom form for retention by the client in their Health and Safety files.
We always work closely with the client to ensure our testing causes minimal disruption to the workings of the business. Hotels are accommodated during late mornings to early afternoons, offices can be out of hours and manufacturing sites can be during shutdown or weekends.
